A Mermaid's Heart

This beauty was given to me to create something special.  The color is a translucent lime green. Almost immediately I knew!  Using sterling silver wire this lucious piece was wrapped up in a frawn of seaweed.  The chain is assembled with sea swirls and dolphin rings then adorned with red agate beads, lime Austrian crystals and red amber carved horn beads.  This mermaids heart has been tumbled by the Pacific for at least a decade.  The patinia is so soft.  I wonder which current carried it here.  It’s a work of art to be worn and enjoyed for generations.  See full view of necklace on page 3 of Sea Glass Jewelry.  www.mermaidspurseseaglass.com
