Coast to Coast

Ever want something so badly you pull out all the stops?  That is exactly what my new sea glass friend did.  Kelly is from Syracuse, New York and visiting here in the South Bay.  She has been enjoying our beaches but couldn’t find sea glass.  She promised her mother (who is crazy about sea glass) a treasure from California.  Soooo, I received a phone call asking if I have a store front.  Sorry I don’t.  We arranged to meet in Hermosa Beach.  Kelly loved, loved, as I pulled out earrings, rings, bracelets, pendants and necklaces.  She not only shopped for her mom but for her daughter and herself….her inner Mermaid was spilling out.  Then I realized a transaction like this doesn’t get much better…..gals from coast to coast coming together on the beach sitting in the outdoor patio of Starbucks, inhaling cool, salty air ooooing and ahhhing over frosted, translucent baubles.  WOW!  Thanks Kelly and Max, it was a lot of fun.  Hope mom enjoys her new California treasure.
